In a bout of certified procrastination, I was blog surfing and I found myself at a site that generates a Japanese name for all of you non-Japanese people out there. Nihonjin janai! It's run by a site called Rum and Monkey which publishes satiric articles and alot of other random shit. And when I say random I mean RANDOM shit. Like a Japanese name generator. I don't even know how it generates names. I think all it does is match your name up with a Japanese name that has alot of similar letters. But it claims that it actually finds the Japanese equivalent of my name. I highly doubt that. Take my name for example, my name has Arabic and Spanish roots. I am very skeptical about the probability of my name having a Japanese equivalent, because if anything my name shouldn't have an equivalent from any Asian language. It should have an equivalent in any Latin or Arabic based language. *ramblerambleramble* So anyhooooo... this is what it came up with.

Family name: 山下 Yamashita (under the mountain)
First name: 弓美 Yumi (beautiful bow, as in bow and arrow)

Yamashita Yumi! Yoroshiku onegaishimaaaasu. *bows*
So, Yamashita? As in Yamashita Tomohisa? *ewwww you cold fish!*

And Yumi?? As in Ayumi Hamasaki?? *at least she's cute!*

Or Yumi?? As in Mayumi?? 私のペットですか？


LOL. yama!!! それは嵐の風の上に山である!!! That's the "yama" on top of "kaze" in 嵐 !!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!!
