...that is the kind of person I am when it comes to keeping up with Arashi news and rumors. So when I somehow found out about Sakurai Sho and Kobayashi Mao, my first reaction was to say,"When did that happen???" The rumor apparently came out last November. Three months ago. Sugoi. I never thought it would happen.
Arashi is an amazing group. Like a lot of musicians, their music bring people together who never could have found each other without it. Each individual member brings a certain shine to the whole and their camaraderie with each other and dedication to their craft is enviable. It is those qualities (and also because of an incredibly awesome marketing and managing company. Thanks Johnny's!) that have helped create an insanely loyal fanbase. Proudly will I say that I am one of them. :p At this current point in time, my declared ichiban is Sakurai Sho. Like many other girls who are obsessed with male idols, the hope that the impossible could be possible (ie. meeting and getting to personally know your idol) keeps us pretty happy all the time. We don't want to own them, we just really admire them for being who they are.
But, I sometimes wonder if my obsessions get the best of me. Because idols are people just like the rest of us, you always say that you want them to find someone and be happy. But when they do, the last person that is happy is you. And it's amazing! Because you don't know him. He just happens to be someone whom you admire and whose music you like. There is no other possible claim that you can lay on him. And yet when they find someone else you are disappointed all the same.
Yes. I am just about as obsessed as any other fangirl out there. I guess I'm just one of the few who get caught up in it so easily. XD
Sorry for the rant! Had to let it out though.
*le sigh*
I live in a quiet suburb. It's quite unremarkable. The silence and the quietness of it is what leads many seniors and young couples who are starting their own families to move here. and yetttt....
today, on my way home from school I see a car packed over on the side of the road and two tall dudes talking to a kid. It immediately alerted my suspicions, like is the kid ok, was there some sort of an accident, will I be called in to be a civilian witness for the kid...and so on and so forth. They were on my side of the road so it was impossible to avoid them. As I drew near...I see that they're searching him!! Like they were making him lift up his pant legs and take off his shoes and patting down his jacket and his inner shirt...ZOMG. IT WAS A DRUG BUST. NO WONDER THE ADULTS WERE WEARING ALL BLACK "FUNCTIONAL" CLOTHES.
I knew there were narcotics dogs sniffing around a dumpster five blocks away last summer but searching a kid???? In the middle of the main street in our suburb???? C'mon cops...wisen up. At least try to maintain the illusion of us having a safe neighbourhood.
I get home and I tell my brother the story and he goes,"how do you know those guys were cops? What if they were some sort of mafia getting their money back?"

Either way: it was a sketchy situation. :-s
